The Taj Mahal has its name derived from the Persian language, and translates to the Crown of Palaces. Built by approximately 22,000 artisans, it is a true architectural wonder with its entry accessible through three gates, placed in the East, West, and South. The monument took approximately 17 years to build and is flocked by visitors all year round.
