Overview
Located on Overblaak Street, this set of unique and innovatively designed cube-shaped houses were built in the early 1980s by Dutch architect Piet Blom, to optimise the house space and achieve a better distribution of the rooms.

What To Expect?
Marvel at the façade of 38 small cubes and 2 super-cubes structures (all attached), each of them representing a tree and together, a forest. Also, explore the innovative interiors with a host at the ‘show cube’.
Tips
- Timings for Kijk-Kubus or the Show Cube: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on all days of the week.
- Entry fee is € 3 per person, € 2 for students and senior citizens (above 65 years), € 1.50 for children (up to 12 years), and € 2 for groups of 10 or more.
- Head to Rotterdam Pass Shop and get a Welcome Card (discount of € 1 per adult on the entry fee) or get yourself a Rotterdam Pass (multiple free visits).
- To reach the Show Cube, follow the directions at the entrance, which is a doorway beneath one of the cubes.
- You can also visit the museum of chess pieces, located under the houses.
