Overview

Built around 1555 by the Portuguese, as a gift to the king of Kochi dynasty, the palace was later refurbished by the Dutch. It exhibits historical murals, artefacts and portraits.

Today, the two-storied palace is a museum. Admire stunning mural work, life-size portraits of kings of Cochin since 1864, and get an insight in to the lives of royals then.

The museum is open every day except for Fridays.
The visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
