Pizza Date at the Beach

Good news for pizza lovers! Domino’s delivers at the beaches of Aruba. Keep some cash handy and have a pizza date at one of the best beaches in the world.

The turquoise waters will soothe your eyes! Eagle Beach is the one we loved the most. Here, you can also enjoy a variety of water sports.

While at the beach, grab a beer or try a tropical drink! We recommend carrying a cooler for all your drinks or fruits; coolers would be available at the shops there.

A Luxury Cruise in the Caribbean Sea

Another ideal date in this tropical paradise could be a pampering experience such as voyaging on the Monforte Luxury Cruise. They even took us snorkelling and we saw remarkable corals and enchanting fishes! These cruises offer amazing refreshments and drinks to pair with basking in the sun.

Just go into another world as the music plays and the cruise sails. On your way, you may come across abandoned ships. You can also opt for a dinner cruise.

Experience One of the Most Stunning Sunsets

If you are nature lovers, then do yourself a favour and witness one of the most beautiful sunsets ever! What is more romantic than walking by the beach and admiring each other while the sun goes down? In addition, you will get the most interesting photos there.

You can also experience the sunset on a cruise!

Hang out with Flamingos

At a private island connected to Renaissance Hotel, in the main shopping area of Aruba, is the place where you can meet flamingos. You can board the free shuttle that starts from the hotel lobby to the island after every 15 minutes. The island is open between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

PS If you are not staying at Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino, then you will need to pay a fee to enter the island. From either the hotel’s website or lobby, you can also buy passes that include a drink and a meal. Buy these a day in advance. Note that they sell only 30 per day and the passes sell like hot cakes!

Renaissance Island is home to the only private beaches in Aruba as well as the well-known pink flamingos. Viewing the pink beauties against the contrasting blue waters is a wonderful experience.

Tip- Feed the flamingos by picking bird food from the machines installed there. The food is paid and the machine accepts only US quarters. Please do not be forceful with the birds.

Flamingos are friendly but by the end of the day, even they are likely to be frustrated after interacting with so many tourists! 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. is the time when kids interact with these birds.

Not just flamingos! When you get off the boat, go to the left side to check out iguanas. If you take the first shuttle from the hotel that leaves at seven in the morning, you will get enough time and the place will be free from crowds.

Apart from meeting the exotic flamingos, you can also go for swimming, indulge in water sports or go for a spa treatment. Floats and cabanas are also available for rent.

You will need some sunscreen here!

Visit California Lighthouse

Rent a car, go on a drive to California Lighthouse, and explore the north-western coastline of Aruba. By paying a fee of $5, you can go up the building and enjoy the mesmerising views of the rugged shoreline of the island especially the yachts floating on the azure waters. During the day, enjoy the sun with some shaved ice from the food trucks.

Sunsets from the lighthouse are spectacular! It will appear like a colourful painting with a huge ball of fire melting down in the Caribbean Sea. Night is also a great time to visit the California Lighthouse if you like calmness and stargazing!

Nevertheless, make sure you drive carefully as there are not many streetlights; the roads are curvy and narrow. The timings for entering the lighthouse are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

While you are there, discover the white sand dunes on foot!
