Overview

Kulathupuzha is a tiny hamlet located in the district of Kollam. It is located on the Kollam-Shenkottai route and is just 59 kilometres away from Kollam and 64 kilometres away from Thiruvananthapuram. River Kulathupuzha runs through the hamlet, and it's home to a wide variety of fish thanks to the abundance of trees and rubber trees in the area.

Kulathupuzha Reserve Forest and Kulathupuzha Wildlife Sanctuary are comprised of the Myristica Swamps and the surrounding forest area.
