Historical Places in Cappadocia

Known for its International, Cappadocia is a hugely popular tourist spot. Thronged by tourists mainly during April, May, August, September and October, Cappadocia is a tourists’ delight. Aksalur Cherry Feast, Cappadox Festival, and Kaymakli Cream Festival are some of the most popular festivals that happen during the month of (June/July, June, and July consecutively.

While June, July and August are considered moderate season, November, December, January, February and March are considered off-seasons to visit the place. In peak season, i.e., in April, May, August, September and October you can expect along with pleasant temperatures, you get a chance to see flowers in full bloom (spring) and the bright red coloured trees (autumn), whilst in the moderate season you will experience the days can become hot but the temperature doesn’t exceed 40°C. In off-season the weather here is snowfall along with a wet & windy weather.

In Cappadocia, tourists enjoy getting indulged in reasonable prices and a great time for exploring the outdoors by trekking, hiking, cycling and going for a hot air balloon ride in the peak season, whereas in moderate season seasonal festivals, sunrise hot air balloon rides and the nightlife are the frequently enjoyed activities. However, if you are travelling in off-season you can enjoy lesser crowds, skiing in any of the resorts, the few hiking trails and hot air balloon rides.
