Damdama Lake is one of the largest lakes in Haryana and is spread over an extensive area of 3000 acres. Damdama Lake is located along the Gurugram-Alwar road, 24 kilometres south of Gurugram. It has a tranquil ambience and is about 64 kilometres or one hour's drive from New Delhi. In 1947, the British ordered the lake to collect rainfall. Over 190 birds migrate near this lake, making it a paradise for bird lovers. Most migrating birds are seen during the monsoons when river levels can rise to fifty feet. Picnics and on-site training for corporate group activities are popular activities there.
